just in case..

10 days before christmas.

i'm slowly falling into the qaugmire known as the christmas rush. 10 days to go and i haven't even started my gift shopping. too much work and so little time and energy left in the evenings to even drink a cup of tea. what has become of me that i can't even enjoy the holidays like i used to? my son craves for a Power Rangers motorcyle. where in the anals of department stores do i find that? if that isn't taxing enough, there's still a busload of reports and year-end stuff to do at the office.
i need a break. i need a massage and i need a hug.

just in case i forget to greet all of you who visit my page to read my mundane thoughts.

thank you very much for the visits and salaam for the new friendships. i hope this coming year brings blessings and good karna for all of you. Merry Christmas everyone! let us remember that there are other people out there who need our help, love, support and prayers.

peace and light y'all.

Hey there Sara dear,

I love your blog! Now you girl are a gifted gabber.
Something that am trying to squeeze out of my dura mater, unfortunately it's like squeezing water out of a dry cloth.

I also noticed that you've linked my blog to your site and I am flattered. I've moved the site to this new link http://web.mac.com/vicel/iWeb/Tropical%20Gypsy/Blog/Blog.html. Drop by when you can.

Merry Christams from the land of the Afghans.
I hate the shopping rush, I hate the commercialism of the whole holiday. My best christmas was when Paul and I went to a monastery in Taize, austere, no christmas decor, just loads of hot chocolate and people praying and singing. It connected us to the real meaning of christmas. This christmas Paul and I are staying in Herat, Afghanistan... there is not trace of the christmas commercialism here so am looking forward to spending another meaningful christmas this year.

Namaste.
