Global conservation organization - World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF-Philippines) is collaborating with the Department of Energy, The Green Army and the Switch Movement for a call to participate in EARTH HOUR. A global effort to mobilize more people in the fight against global warming and climate change.
They are urging everyone to take part in EARTH HOUR 2009 by joining the call to turn off lights for an hour.
Earth Hour is a massive social movement aimed to mobilize action against climate change through the simple act of turning off lights.
It's just an hour. Join na tayo. Let it be a time to bond with the kids. Open those game boards and play with your children, brothers, sisters, moms, dads. By spending quality "no-lights" hour you not only help in the call for climate change but maybe also discover something new about that special someone(s) in your lives.
