my 100.

apologies. since i am sick and at home with the most dreaded flu virus, this explains the boredom. i am doing my prerequisite 100 list for the new year.

every year i make my 100 list and try to compare it with my last years list to see if i still have my morals and values intact. along with this, of course, is more nonesense about my everyday life. i'm glad i still write a lot of nonesense. humor makes the world go 'round.  

rashidsmom's 100 in 2008:

1. i'm into voices like chocolate.
2. i love working and i love my job.
3. i'm most comfortable in jeans and a ratty shirt.

4. i love listening to music. 
5. i sing out loud to show tunes. with hand gestures.
6. i dance to tv advertisements, much to my children’ dismay .
7. i miss my lola.
8. i treat my nieces and nephews like my own children. 
9. i wait for the day i'm finally emancipated from my cellphone. 
10. i pod. a lot. 
11. i don't own a tv (in manila), have 1 in davao but not in my room.
12. i don't eat fastfood anymore.. 
13. used to love fries. with mayo. 
14. i drive like a madwoman. 
15. i’m into going deep into the war-torn mountains just to see my cousins. 
16. because they make me proud that they’re fighting for our children’s future.

18. i have two things i need to do in order to feel fulfilled. 
19. one involves people. the other involves verbs. 
20. i don’t smoke anymore. Hurrah!

51. i have a weird habit of biting my lower lip.
52. i love to shop for shoes.. but Pinoy shoes don’t fit me.
53. my daughter nina is a book addict. 
54. she is an artist too. 
55. my second, andrea is a whiz at math. 
56. i hated math when i was in school.

93. these days, i rarely do i go out at night, that’s coz I’m sleepy at 9pm. 
94. writing is the only thing that keeps me from screaming invectives out of my window. 
95. if i had paris hilton’s money, i would be travelling all over the world incognito. 
96. and stashing money in everyone’s pockets back home (that would be fun). 
97. i have discovered what it means to be happy, 
98. and they teach me something new each day.
99. i fight for peace for a living.
