was scanning my daily dose of 7 newspapers today and was shocked at this bit of news. how can anyone kidnap someone who helps feed you. that in itself is the work of the devil.
i met Milet in one of the peace workshops i attended in Manila a few years back. she was an amiable lady. i pray that she is safe and well and so are her companions.
i am so angry.

This is sad news indeed. Whether it's a peace volunteer, an ordinary farmer, a businessman or just about anybody who gets kidnapped, we feel helpless for them.
It's tearing the whole island apart.
