i have been out of school for ages. a decade even. so imagine my delight that i am now.. as we speak... conducting a workshop for students at the University of Southern Mindanao (USM) here in Kabacan, North Cotabato.

it's just pure delight. major fun fun everyday for the past 3 days now.

such bright, interesting characters these kids are. there's Jake, the magician, Jang the outspoken "wow legs" guy, Dhats, the Maguindanaoan who doesn't know how to speak the language but can rap better than Francis M.,Lovely, who sings like a diva, Erlo who portrayed a very convincing gay assault victim and so many more who delight the bejeesus out of me. all of them delight me with their talent and intelligence that i'm thinking of a teaching post in USM as soon as the next semester starts.

so, if ever you get to read this guys.. thanks for listening to our nonesense and please please clip on those name tags tomorrow so i can include you in the next blog entries i write.
